Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Launches Early April, Introduces Endgame Hub
Capcom has unveiled exciting early details about the first major patch for Monster Hunter Wilds, set to launch in early April. This announcement comes hot on the heels of the game's monumental launch, with Capcom sharing insights on Title Update 1 via a Steam post. The company emphasized that the patch, arriving just over a month after the game's release, will offer hunters ample time to gear up for the new content and challenges that lie ahead.
Title Update 1 introduces a thrilling new level of challenge, urging players to "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters!" Capcom teased. "TU1 will bring with it a monster of formidable strength at a level above Tempered!" Additionally, a new challenging monster will join the fray, ensuring that even seasoned hunters will find their skills tested.
A notable addition with Title Update 1 is a new endgame gathering spot. "A new place to meet, communicate, have meals together and more with other hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1!" Capcom announced. This area, accessible to those who have completed the main story, promises to enrich the social aspect of the game. "This area will be available to hunters who have completed the main story, so get hunting and be ready!"
The response to the new gathering spot has been mixed. While some players welcome the addition, others are puzzled as to why it wasn't included at launch. This new area resembles the Gathering Hubs from previous Monster Hunter titles, though Capcom has opted for a different name this time around. The absence of a true social hub in Monster Hunter Wilds has been noted, and this update aims to address that gap.
Capcom has released several images showcasing this new gathering spot:
