Moon 2999 Launches Epic Interstellar Strategy Game on Android
Moon 2999 is an expansive sci-fi RPG experience for both co‑op and solo players, now available on Android and PC. Created by indie developer Thierry Bouché—who dedicated five years to its development—this strategy and lunar base management game unfolds at the dawn of the year 2999.
Set in a future where humanity has colonized much of the solar system
In Moon 2999, humanity has established colonies across the solar system, but centuries of political strife have fractured them into powerful factions and warring empires. You step into the role of a Moon base commander.
Your duties involve expanding and enhancing the colony, recruiting supporters, and journeying into deep space. The world of Moon 2999 features alien swarms, massive bosses, and rival groups determined to undo your progress.
Missions span clashes with the Kragh aliens, bounty hunting, faction warfare, and PvP duels. Each fight, partnership, and decision reshapes your base and influences the broader fate of the galaxy.
The core gameplay blends construction with combat. You can build bases equipped with diverse facilities such as command centers, factories, research labs, and military installations.
Upgrading each base increases efficiency and unlocks more potent abilities. Recruiting units introduces a wide array of troops with RPG‑based skills and weaponry. Combat can occur in real‑time or turn‑based modes.
Moon 2999 is now available
The game draws from beloved space‑themed titles like Cosmo 1999, Killjoys, and The Expanse. Thierry Bouché started the project in 2020, combining his lifelong enthusiasm for PC and mobile gaming with a deep passion for science fiction.
A special launch event, the Kragh Invasion, is currently underway, challenging you to protect your territories from a fresh galactic menace. Download Moon 2999 from the Google Play Store now; it’s free to play and contains no in‑app purchases.
