Dive into the world of *Rune Slayer*, a Roblox MMORPG brimming with quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing! But no true MMORPG is complete without a trusty mount, and *Rune Slayer* delivers. While acquiring one isn't overly complex, the game doesn't explicitly guide you. Fear not, this guide will show you the way.

Recommended Preparations Before Mounting Your Pet

Before you start galloping across the Rune Slayer landscape, you'll need two things:

• Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours of questing, job completion, and mob slaying. Having friends along speeds things up considerably!
• Tame a Pet: A quest will guide you through this process, but here's the gist:
  • Find a tamable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
  • Attack it once.
  • Hold a food item the animal enjoys (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
  • A heart will appear above its head. A fully grown heart means success; a black heart means you'll need to try again with a different animal.

Completing the Mount Quest

Once you hit level 20, head to Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire. He'll offer the "Jimmy's Delivery" quest, requiring you to deliver a package to the Ashenshire Stable Master. Simply head north through Wayshire's northern entrance, following the path through Greatwood Forest to Ashenshire (look for large houses perched atop giant trees). Avoid straying too far from the path, as the forest mobs can be challenging.

You'll find a rope leading upwards; interact with it to climb. The first NPC you encounter will be Madonna the Stable Master. There's no quest marker; simply talk to her and select "I have a package for you." After she accepts it, backtrack to Wayshire.

Talk to Jimmy; he'll reward you with a saddle. It won't appear in your inventory, preventing accidental loss or sale.

Mounting Your Pet

Summon your pet (hold "T"), approach it, and select "Mount" (press "E"). Enjoy your high-speed travels! This works for all mountable pets.
