Neil Druckmann: No Promises on The Last of Us Part 3

Neil Druckmann, the series creator, has recently thrown cold water on any hopes for a new installment in the franchise. In a detailed interview with Variety focused primarily on the upcoming The Last of Us TV series, Druckmann addressed the possibility of The Last of Us Part 3 with a definitive statement that may disappoint many fans.
“I was waiting for this question,” Druckmann said with a sigh. “I guess the only thing I would say is don’t bet on there being more of ‘Last of Us.’ This could be it.”

Currently, Naughty Dog is fully committed to their new project, *Intergalactic*, which was unveiled at The Game Awards last December. With no release window in sight, it's clear that *Intergalactic* is their main focus for the foreseeable future, leaving little room for *The Last of Us Part 3*.
