NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile
NetEase announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.
For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 survival horror game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title. While the mobile version debuted in April 2020, its PC counterpart launched in June 2016.
The core gameplay remains the same: players choose to be either Killer or Survivor in a tense game of cat and mouse. Killers hunt and sacrifice Survivors to the Entity, while Survivors strive for survival.
Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:
The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.
NetEase will process refunds according to regional laws, with further details released on January 16th, 2025.
Existing players can transition to the PC or console versions, receiving a welcome package as an incentive. Loyalty rewards will also be granted based on in-game spending and XP accumulated on the mobile version.
Download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025, to experience the game before its servers close. For another exciting mobile gaming experience, check out our article on Tormentis Dungeon RPG, a new dungeon-building game for Android.
