Netflix’s Rise of the Golden Idol Is Dropping Its First DLC The Sins of New Wells
Netflix's *Rise of the Golden Idol* is set to expand its universe with the release of its first DLC, *The Sins of New Wells*, which will be available on mobile starting March 4th. Alongside mobile, this exciting new content will also be accessible on PC and consoles. For mobile users, the best part is that it's completely free, thanks to Netflix Gaming.
What’s in Store?
Prepare for an even deeper dive into mystery, crime, and the enigmatic Lemurian magic. *The Sins of New Wells* introduces a city plagued with unprecedented issues. Homicide detective Roy Samson finds himself transferred to the notorious 9th District, a place where justice is a distant concept.
In this corrupt environment where crime is the norm, Roy, alongside his new partner Cliff Savea, begins investigating a series of brutal crimes. Their journey quickly reveals a sinister undercurrent far more dangerous than they anticipated.
This DLC introduces four gripping new cases: *Following Orders*, *Trouble Unleashed*, *The Raid*, and *Unraveling*. Each case is a complex web of crime, deceit, and mystery. Players will need to sift through the lies, uncover hidden motives, and piece together the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.
To crack these cases, you'll interrogate mostly dishonest characters and tackle intricate puzzles. Be warned, a sense of madness pervades New Wells, adding an extra layer of challenge to your investigations.
Are You a Netflix Subscriber?
If you're a Netflix subscriber, you can dive into *The Sins of New Wells* on mobile at 9 AM PT or 5 PM GMT on launch day. Color Gray Games has teased that this is just the beginning, with at least four more DLCs planned for 2025.
*Rise of the Golden Idol* has already established itself as a premier modern detective game. As a Netflix subscriber, you can enjoy this game for free on the Google Play Store.
Before you go, don't miss our coverage on *Good Coffee, Great Coffee*, which offers realistic coffee-making challenges.
