Nicholas Galitzine Unveils First Glimpse of He-Man in New Masters of the Universe Movie
Nicholas Galitzine has officially stepped into the iconic boots of He-Man in the upcoming *Masters of the Universe* film, and fans have just received their first look at the actor in costume. The production recently wrapped filming, and to mark the milestone, the movie’s official social media channels shared a dramatic photo of Galitzine on June 15. In the image, he appears in full He-Man regalia, back turned to the camera and bathed in shadow—leaving plenty to the imagination while building anticipation for the final product.
The post included a special message straight from the set, confirming that Galitzine had completed his work on the film. He shared a heartfelt statement about the experience: “Well, that’s a wrap on *Masters of the Universe*. It has been an honour shouldering the responsibility of playing Adam and He-Man,” he said. “It’s been the role of a lifetime and I put everything into it. There’s not much I can show you, but I am so proud of the movie we’ve made. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew for all your hard work.”
Clearly, Galitzine gave it his all—both mentally and physically—for this highly anticipated project. Back in January, he opened up about the intense training and nutrition regimen required to embody the mighty warrior. Speaking with *W Magazine*, he revealed: “I'm eating about 4,000 calories a day, but the amount of physical work I'm doing… You end up hungry at the end of the day, which is quite surprising.”
In the film, Galitzine portrays both Prince Adam of Eternia and his heroic alter ego, He-Man. He’s joined by a stellar ensemble cast including Camila Mendes, Allison Brie, Jared Leto, and Idris Elba. Directed by Travis Knight (*Bumblebee*) and written by Chris Butler (*ParaNorman*), *Masters of the Universe* is scheduled to hit theaters next summer, promising a fresh take on the beloved franchise.
