LEGO and Nintendo have teamed up to produce some fantastic LEGO Nintendo sets, including last year's interactive Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever Legend of Zelda set. However, many other iconic Nintendo franchises remain untapped. Currently, the selection leans heavily towards Mario (including Donkey Kong) and Animal Crossing. As a fan of both LEGO and Nintendo, I believe there's room for significant expansion. What Nintendo franchise do you think deserves the LEGO treatment next?

With the upcoming Switch 2, anticipation for future Nintendo LEGO sets is high, especially considering Nintendo's investments in film (the new Mario movie and the planned live-action Zelda adaptation). What Nintendo franchises could realistically see LEGO sets in 2025 and beyond? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Personally, I believe Metroid presents the most compelling opportunity. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, the timing seems ideal for impressive LEGO builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, rather than the existing MEGA sets, although licensing agreements may pose a challenge.
