Currently, accessing the Virtuos website is challenging, with most pages beyond the homepage appearing offline.

Although the leaked content was quickly removed, screenshots and details have already spread widely online. According to VGC, the long-rumored project is titled The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, developed through a partnership between Virtuos and Bethesda’s Dallas and Rockville studios.

Virtuos has extensive experience with remasters, having contributed to projects like The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition.

The leaked information suggests the Oblivion remaster will launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PlayStation 5. A Deluxe Edition is also expected, offering extras like unique weapons and horse armor, a playful reference to the divisive 2006 DLC.

Speculation about an Oblivion remaster has persisted for years, fueled by leaked documents from the 2023 Microsoft-FTC trial. Recent reports have even hinted at a potential surprise launch this month.

As of now, no official announcement has been made, but the leaked details strongly suggest The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is nearing release.
