Original Release in 2006

Developed by Bethesda Game Studios and co-published with 2K Games, Oblivion was initially planned as an Xbox 360 launch title for late 2005. After development delays, the Xbox 360 and PC versions launched in March 2006.

A mobile version developed by Superscape and published by Vir2L Studios followed in May 2006, while the PlayStation 3 edition debuted in North America in March 2007 and Europe in April 2007. Though a PSP version was considered, it never materialized. The game saw multiple bundled releases alongside titles like Fallout 3 and BioShock.

Recent leaks from developer Virtuos' website offered early glimpses of the remaster, featuring promotional artwork and side-by-side comparisons with the original. Reports suggest the remaster will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), and PC.

Rumors indicate a potential Deluxe Edition with bonus weapons and the infamous horse armor DLC. Until Bethesda's official presentation airs, fans will need to wait for confirmation on these details.
