In a recent interview, Mizobe discussed the hurdles in porting Palworld to the Switch, citing the game's demanding PC specifications. While discussions about new platforms are ongoing, no announcements regarding a Switch release are imminent. Despite the technical challenges, Mizobe remains positive about expanding Palworld's reach to other platforms. He previously acknowledged the significant difference in specifications between PC and Switch hardware.

The possibility of Palworld launching on PlayStation, other consoles, or mobile remains unconfirmed. Earlier this year, Mizobe confirmed explorations into bringing the game to additional platforms. He also mentioned openness to partnerships or acquisitions, but denied any buyout discussions with Microsoft.

Beyond platform considerations, Mizobe expressed his vision for enhanced multiplayer aspects. An upcoming arena mode, described as an experiment, will lay the groundwork for future multiplayer additions. His goal is to implement a robust PvP mode, drawing inspiration from the complex social and competitive dynamics found in games like Ark and Rust. These games are known for their challenging environments, resource management, and player interactions, including alliances and conflict.
