Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Anti-Trans Comments

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in acclaimed series like The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized J.K. Rowling over her recent statements and actions concerning the transgender community. This response came after Rowling celebrated a UK Supreme Court decision that legally defines "woman" as "a biological woman and biological sex," thereby excluding transgender women from protections under the Equality Act.

Rowling's celebratory post on Twitter/X, where she was seen smoking a cigar and drinking by the ocean, captioned with "I love it when a plan comes together," was in reference to her financial support for For Scotland Women, the organization behind the lawsuit. This post drew sharp criticism from writer and activist Tariq Raouf, who described Rowling's actions as "serious Voldemort villain sh*t" in a video posted on April 17.

In response to Raouf's video, Pascal did not hold back, commenting, "Awful disgusting SH*T is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior." This statement is part of a broader pattern of support from Pascal for the transgender community. He has previously expressed his views strongly on social media, stating, "I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by a photo of a sign affirming the historical and future presence of trans people.

Pascal's commitment to the cause is also personal; his sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a transgender woman in 2021. He publicly supported her, sharing a heartfelt message on social media: "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," translating to "My sister, my heart, our Lux." Additionally, Pascal made a statement at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London by wearing a shirt that read "Protect the dolls," a term of endearment for trans women within the LGBTQIA+ community.

Pascal's vocal advocacy underscores his dedication to supporting and defending the rights and dignity of the transgender community, both in his personal life and on public platforms.
