"Persona 5: The Phantom X English Release Imminent"
Exciting news for fans of the Persona series: Persona 5: The Phantom X is gearing up for an English release, and the details are set to be unveiled soon. The game's new official Twitter (X) account has confirmed that an upcoming livestream will bring the first major announcement regarding the English version of P5X. Mark your calendars for May 15, when the livestream kicks off at 7:00 AM PT on Atlus' official western YouTube channel.

The event promises to be a star-studded affair, featuring special guests from the game's cast including Kaede Hondo, the voice of Motoha Arai, and Chika Anzai, who voices Yui. They will be joined by key members of the development team, such as P5X Chief Producer Yohsuke Uda and Development Director Yusuke Nitta from ATLUS, alongside Development Producer Jun Matsunaga and Live Ops Director Yuta Sakai from SEGA.
P5X initially launched in selected regions in April 2024, and there's buzz that the Western release might be announced during the upcoming stream. The developers hinted at their plans for English localization during the game's first anniversary livestream, and the official account teased, "The release date for Japan will surely be announced, but what about the West? In addition to the English version, the livestream will shed more light on the Japanese (JP) release of P5X. Atlus has already announced that it will launch in Japan in Summer 2025, and pre-registrations are currently open on the JP website.
Sega Sammy Holdings, a global conglomerate, included P5X in their Fiscal Year 2025 Results Presentation on May 12, indicating that the game is slated for release "In or after FY2026/3" (April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026), with a targeted launch this summer.
