Today is Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has introduced an exciting new way to celebrate through the Party Walk event. This time, instead of taking extra steps, you're encouraged to plant more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality, location-based game, you won't want to miss out on this special event.

When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?

The Pikmin Bloom Party Walk, themed around Earth Day, runs from April 22nd to April 30th. Unlike the usual step tracking, this event focuses on the number of flowers you plant, contributing to a global total. Each bloom you plant adds to the collective effort, perfectly aligning with the Earth Day spirit by promoting more greenery and purposeful action. Pikmin Bloom is making this fun and rewarding, too.

Depending on the total number of flowers planted during the event, players can unlock special weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings. Here's what you can achieve: if the global total reaches 500 million flowers, everyone participating gets a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. If the total hits 1 billion flowers, you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin. And if players collectively plant 1.5 billion flowers, you'll receive a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, specifically for White Pikmin.

But Keep This in Mind

Remember, your flowers won't count towards the total unless you join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Ensure you've updated to app version 117 and registered correctly. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.

To help you with your flower planting mission, everyone participating will receive a promo code. Note that all flower types contribute to the goal, so don't worry about planting any specific kind. Just get out there and start blooming!
