Pixeljam Debuts Cornhole Hero on Mobile

Feb 22,26

Pixeljam has unveiled its latest mobile game – Cornhole Hero, where players become master beanbag tossers. Now available on both Android and iOS, this pixel-art title emphasizes minimalist, fast-paced fun.

The studio, with twenty years of experience, is known for eccentric titles like Last Horizon and Potatoman Seeks the Troof. After a mobile hiatus, Cornhole Hero signals their comeback to the platform.

What Exactly Is Cornhole Hero?

The game offers a simplified arcade interpretation of America's fastest-growing backyard sport (second only to pickleball in popularity). Players experience three distinct modes: Tournament, Blitz, and Balloons – each with unique color schemes. Tournament features blue and white tones, Blitz showcases orange and yellow, while Balloons displays purple and pink aesthetics.

Tournament challenges players to maximize scores with just five bags. Blitz mode provides a frantic 30-second free-throw session. Balloons, as the name suggests, tasks players with popping floating targets using the beanbags.

Gameplay couldn't be simpler: players swipe to launch bags, targeting either the corn hole or balloons for maximum points. Precision and timing are key, with intuitive swipe controls handling all actions. Check out the gameplay in the official trailer below.

Should You Try It?

With vibrant contrasting colors and retro pixel graphics, Cornhole Hero evokes classic arcade nostalgia while serving as the perfect casual distraction. The free-to-play Android version includes an optional one-time ad removal purchase.

Ideal for quick gaming sessions, Cornhole Hero is now available on the Google Play Store.
