Pokémon Go Concludes Might and Mastery Season with Global Challenge
Teamwork makes the dream work—and in *Pokémon GO*, it might just earn you some rare rewards. As the Might and Mastery season nears its conclusion, Niantic is putting friendship and collaboration in the spotlight with the **Strength in Numbers** Global Challenge. Running from **May 20th to 22nd**, this event encourages players to send as many Gifts as possible to help the global community unlock a special prize: giftable Special Research tickets for the upcoming **Community Day Classic: Machop**.
During the three-day challenge window, trainers can open up to **50 Gifts per day**, offering generous opportunities to collect Stardust, useful items, and Friendship level boosts. But the real goal is to progress the Global Challenge. If the community hits the target in time, starting on **May 23rd**, players will gain access to these exclusive giftable Special Research tickets—perfect for sharing with friends who’ve reached **Great Friends status**.
What’s more? You don’t need to purchase your own ticket to gift one. Simply visit the in-game shop and begin sending Machop-themed Special Research tickets to your fellow trainers. Each player can gift up to **20 tickets per day**, giving everyone plenty of chances to spread the Fighting-type fun.
This sets the stage for the main event: the **Machop Community Day Classic** on **May 24th**, from **2 PM to 5 PM local time**. During those action-packed hours, Superpower Pokémon Machop will appear far more frequently in the wild. And yes, the elusive Shiny Machop returns too—ideal for trainers looking to complete their collection or build a glowing green Machamp squad.
If you evolve Machoke during the event window (up until May 31st), you’ll get a Machamp that knows **Payback**, a powerful Dark-type Charged Attack that gives it an extra edge in battle. The event also features bonus Stardust, **three-hour Incense and Lure Modules**, and limited-time **Timed Research** offering a themed Machop encounter with increased Shiny spawn rates.
Get event-ready by downloading *Pokémon GO* for free today. Be sure to stop by the [Pokémon GO Web Store]([ttpp]) to stock up on essential items ahead of the festivities!
