Pokémon Go is kicking off October with a metallic roster, headlined by the arrival of Dynamax Duraludon in the upcoming Steel Skyline event and the much-anticipated appearance of Mega Metagross in a special Raid Day. Alongside these, continuing XP Celebration bonuses mean the coming weeks are ideal for players hunting Shiny Pokémon, tackling raids, and earning extra rewards.

The Steel Skyline event runs from September 30th to October 7th, with Dynamax Duraludon making its Pokémon Go debut in four-star Max Battles. Other tiers will feature Dynamax Drilbur, Rookidee, and Beldum, each with a chance to be shiny. In the wild, you'll encounter increased numbers of Steel-types like Magnemite, Aron, and Togedemaru.

Shortly after, on October 4th, Mega Metagross gets its spotlight with a Mega Raid Day from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. This event offers a chance to find a Shiny Metagross, and all Metagross caught during these raids will know the Charged Attack Shadow Claw. Bonuses include free Raid Passes, increased XP and Stardust rewards, and a higher limit for Remote Raids.
