Pokémon Go's Wayfarer Challenge in Chile and India: Nominate Landmarks as PokéStops and Gyms
Niantic has exciting news for Pokémon Go trainers in Chile and India with the launch of the Wayfarer Challenge. This event not only allows you to influence your local Pokémon Go world but also offers you the chance to earn exclusive rewards. By participating in the Niantic Wayfarer platform, you can review and approve Wayspot nominations, which can lead to the introduction of new PokéStops and Gyms in the game, and you'll be working towards special milestone rewards.
The Wayfarer Challenge in Pokémon Go will take place from March 7th to 9th in Chile and from March 10th to 12th in India. During these dates, you have the opportunity to nominate real-world locations like landmarks, sculptures, and street art to become PokéStops and Gyms. Your efforts in reviewing these nominations will contribute to achieving community milestones. If the community manages to resolve 5,000 nominations, all participants will be rewarded with 20 Ultra Balls, a Star Piece, an Incense, and a Poffin. Push the community to reach 10,000 approvals, and the rewards escalate to 25 Ultra Balls, two Star Pieces, two Incense, two Poffins, and a Lucky Egg.
To participate in this event, you must be at least level 37 in Pokémon Go and have a Niantic Wayfarer account. If you're new to Wayfarer, you'll need to complete the Wayfarer Orientation before you can start reviewing nominations. Additionally, you need to have played in Chile or India recently or set your Wayfarer Hometown or Bonus Location to one of these countries. To be eligible for rewards, you must review at least 50 nominations, and at least one milestone must be achieved.
Concurrently, from March 9th to 12th, the PokéStop Challenge event will be running exclusively in Chile and India. During this event, you'll earn 3x XP for visiting a PokéStop for the first time, 3x Stardust from opening Gifts, and there will be increased Kecleon spawns. Engaging in Event Field Research could lead to encounters with Eevee, and completing Timed Research tasks will give you a chance to catch other Pokémon.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your Pokémon Go experience. Nominate new PokéStops in your country by downloading Pokémon Go for free now. Also, be sure to visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on essential items for your journey.
