Pokémon Go's Holiday Part One event kicks off December 17th and runs through the 22nd, bringing festive cheer and exciting rewards! Expect double XP for catching Pokémon and half the usual egg hatching distance.

This event introduces a costumed Dedenne (with a shiny variant!), and the first-ever appearance of Shiny Sandygast. Prepare for encounters with Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka in the wild. Raids will feature festively dressed Pokémon, including Pikachu and Psyduck in one-star raids, Glaceon and Cryogonal in three-star raids, and Mega Latias and Mega Latios in Mega Raids.

7km Eggs hold the possibility of hatching Hisuian Growlithe or a ribbon-adorned Cubchoo. Complete event-themed Field Research tasks and a paid Timed Research for additional encounters and rewards like Premium Battle Passes. Collection Challenges offer Stardust and Poké Balls for catching and raiding.
