Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Updates Rewards
Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two Launches with New Cosmetics
The second phase of the popular Blastoise Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is now live, introducing a fresh batch of cosmetic rewards. The in-game shop boasts new Blastoise-themed items, including a stylish Blastoise icon, a commemorative coin, themed card sleeves, and an eye-catching blue and Blastoise playmat.
This second phase runs until January 22nd, offering players a limited window to earn event tickets. However, the event shop remains open until January 28th, providing a grace period to exchange accumulated tickets for rewards. Players can trade event tickets for Shinedust at a rate of 50 Shinedust per ticket, up to a maximum of 1,000 Shinedust.
Following the busy holiday season's generous distribution of Pack Hourglasses and free booster packs, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster pack collection and anticipate the next expansion, rumored for late January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.
The new Blastoise cosmetics provide a compelling reason for daily logins. The previously released rewards, including a Blue and Blastoise backdrop and cover, remain available. Event missions continue to offer Event Shop Tickets, attainable through Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire- and Water-type cards. The Bonus Pick also provides additional tickets, simplifying the acquisition of all shop items. Daily logins are strongly advised, especially for those aiming to complete their collection of limited-edition promo cards, as trading these cards may not be possible, according to ongoing speculation. The first part of the event, which introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards, concluded on January 6th.
