With two Pokémon in the spotlight, stock up on Poké Balls, Berries, and Incense. Maximize your chances of catching and evolving these electrifying Pokémon. Also, ensure you have ample space in your Pokémon storage to avoid interruptions during the event.
Voltorb (Kanto #100):
This Kanto-region Electric-type Pokémon (#100 in the Pokédex) offers 3 Candies and 100 Stardust upon capture. It evolves into Electrode using 50 Candies. Voltorb boasts a max CP of 1141, with 109 Attack and 111 Defense. Its weakness lies against Ground-type moves (160% damage), while it resists Electric, Flying, and Steel-type moves (63% damage). The optimal moveset is Spark and Discharge, delivering 5.81 DPS and 40.62 TDO. Rainy weather boosts its attack power. A blue Shiny Voltorb awaits discovery.
Hisuian Voltorb (Kanto #100):
Sharing the same Pokédex number (#100), Hisuian Voltorb is also an Electric-type from the Kanto region. It evolves into Hisuian Electrode with 50 Candies, providing 3 Candies and 100 Stardust per catch. Its stats mirror Voltorb's (1141 CP, 111 Defense, 109 Attack). However, its type matchups differ. It takes increased damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, and Poison-type moves (160% damage), while resisting Grass, Steel, and Water-type moves (63% damage). Other Electric-type moves inflict only 39% damage. The best moveset is Tackle and Thunderbolt, yielding 5.39 DPS and 37.60 TDO. Partly Cloudy and Rainy weather enhance its damage output. Look for the black Shiny Hisuian Voltorb!
Don't miss this electrifying Spotlight Hour! Prepare your supplies, and get ready to catch 'em all!
