Pokémon Go now lets you join Raids from your friend list
Pokémon Go streamlines Raid participation with a new friends list feature! Now, Great Friends and above can easily join each other's Raids.
This update simplifies joining friends' Raids, displaying ongoing Raids and their respective bosses directly on your friends list. No more separate invites needed!
The change is subtle but significant, especially for players with strong friendships. It fosters collaboration and makes assisting friends in Raids much easier. For solo players, an in-settings toggle allows opting out of this feature.
Solo Play Option Remains
The official Pokémon Go blog provides complete details on this update. While seemingly minor, this long-awaited change reflects Niantic's increased responsiveness to player feedback. The ability to easily join friends in Raids is a welcome addition to the gameplay experience.
