When Is Pokémon TCG Pocket Dropping Space-Time Smackdown and Trading?
Mark your calendars! Starting January 29th, 2025, you can dive into the new trading feature in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Just a day later, on January 30th, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion will be released. This update not only introduces trading but also enhances your digital binder and display board with stunning new covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.
The much-anticipated trading feature is finally here. To trade cards, you'll need to acquire two new items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Note that the cards eligible for trading are limited to rarity levels 1-4 and ★1. Initially, you can only trade cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, but the developers have promised to include more tradeable cards in future updates.
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion focuses on the Sinnoh region, bringing you two new booster packs centered around the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, along with fresh card illustrations. You'll also find cards featuring Lucario, the formidable steel-and-fighting type, and the beloved Sinnoh starters: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. Are you thrilled about the prospect of trading cards or expanding your collection with Sinnoh legends? Whichever it is, you can grab Pokémon TCG Pocket from the Google Play Store and join the excitement.
