Pokémon Unite features six ranks, each subdivided into multiple classes for incremental advancement. Higher ranks generally have more classes than lower ones. Crucially, rank progression only occurs through ranked matches—quick or standard matches won't affect your rank.

The Ranks of Pokémon Unite

  • Beginner Rank (3 Classes)
  • Great Rank (4 Classes)
  • Expert Rank (5 Classes)
  • Veteran Rank (5 Classes)
  • Ultra Rank (5 Classes)
  • Master Rank

Getting Started

To join the ranked fray, you'll need Trainer Level 6, a Fair Play score of 80, and five Pokémon licenses. Once you meet these requirements, you're ready to begin your journey in Beginner Rank.

Performance Points and Diamond Points

Your performance in ranked matches determines your Performance Points (5-15 points per match based on individual score, plus bonuses for sportsmanship, participation, and winning streaks). Each rank has a Performance Point cap. Once you hit the cap, you earn one Diamond Point per match instead, crucial for rank advancement. Here's the breakdown:

  • Beginner Rank: 80 Points
  • Great Rank: 120 Points
  • Expert Rank: 200 Points
  • Veteran Rank: 300 Points
  • Ultra Rank: 400 Points
  • Master Rank: N/A

Advancing and Rewards

Four Diamond Points equal a class upgrade. Maxing out your class within a rank propels you to the next rank's first class. You gain a Diamond Point for each ranked match victory and lose one for each defeat. Players with maxed Performance Points also earn a Diamond Point per match.

Seasonal rewards include Aeos Tickets (more for higher ranks), used in the Aeos Emporium. Certain ranks offer unique, rotating seasonal rewards.

So, sharpen your skills, strategize your team battles, and climb the ranks to claim your Pokémon Unite dominance and reap the rewards!
