With over 180 cards to chase, Journey Together offers a rich variety of collectibles. The set includes over 40 Trainer's Pokémon, 16 Pokémon ex, 11 Illustration Rares, six Special Illustration Rares, and three Hyper Rare gold cards. Additionally, Box Toppers are returning, featuring Enhanced Booster Display Boxes with a stamped N's Reshiram Illustration Rare.

Journey Together Standard Booster Box

Opening a Booster Box is a thrilling experience, with 36 packs to explore. My highlights included pulling N's Reshiram Illustration Rare, Iono's Bellibolt ex Secret Rare, and a Hyper Rare Spiky Energy. Even without the big hits, I found many solid ex cards that will enhance my decks. While I missed out on Hop's Zacian ex and Lillie's Clefairy ex Special Art Rare, the excitement of opening packs and the sheer number of cards make a Booster Box an excellent choice for collectors and players alike.

Journey Together Elite Trainer Box

The Elite Trainer Box offers a premium experience, featuring a N's Zorua promo and essential accessories like sleeves, dice, and condition markers. With nine booster packs, I managed to pull Iono's Kilowattrel Illustration Rare, Articuno Illustration Rare, and Veluza ex. The structured nature of the ETB, combined with the fun of opening packs, makes it a great option for those looking for both collectibles and gameplay essentials.

Journey Together Build & Battle Box

The Build & Battle Box provides an immediate play experience with a prebuilt 40-card deck. My promo pull was Hop's Snorlax, a valuable card that boosts the damage output of Hop's Pokémon. The four packs yielded Mamoswine ex and Swinub Illustration Rare, perfectly complementing the deck's theme. For those eager to start playing with the new set, the Build & Battle Box is the ideal choice.

Our Pokémon TCG: Journey Together Pulls

After opening 49 booster packs across various products, I ended up with 18 rare cards. These ranged from expected pulls to delightful surprises, offering more variety than Prismatic Evolutions. Here's a rundown of the standout cards:

Hop's Snorlax (Promo 184)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A robust Basic Pokémon with 150 HP that boosts all of Hop's Pokémon attacks by 30 extra damage. Dynamic Press packs a punch, though the 80 recoil damage is a drawback. Nonetheless, the ability makes it a valuable asset for any Hop-themed deck.

N's Zorua (Promo 189)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A basic card with 70 HP and a modest 20 damage from Scratch, but its value lies in its potential to evolve into Zoroark ex, which could be a powerhouse in this set.

Spiky Energy Hyper Rare (190/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A versatile card that deals 20 damage whenever the attached Pokémon is hit, while also providing Colorless Energy. It's an essential addition to any competitive deck.

Iono's Bellibolt ex-Secret Rare (172/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
With 280 HP and the ability to attach unlimited Lightning Energy, Iono's Bellibolt ex is a formidable Lightning-type Pokémon. Thunderous Bolt delivers 230 damage, though it requires skipping a turn.

Iris's Fighting Spirit Full Art (180/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A strategic Supporter card that allows you to discard one card and draw until you have six. It's perfect for decks that benefit from discarding Energy or Pokémon, enhanced by its full art design.

Iono's Kilowattrel Illustration Rare (163/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Lightning-type that replenishes your hand with Flashing Draw, albeit at the cost of discarding a Lightning Energy. Its 70-damage Mach Bolt is decent, but its primary role is hand management.

N's Reshiram Illustration Rare (167/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A 130 HP Dragon-type whose attacks grow stronger with damage taken. Powerful Rage and Virtuous Flame offer high-risk, high-reward gameplay.

Articuno Illustration Rare (161/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Water-type that accelerates two Basic Water Energy onto itself with Frigid Fluttering, making it a quick setup for Ice Blast's 110 damage.

Swinub Illustration Rare (165/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
An early-game asset that searches your deck for two Basic Pokémon with Call for Family. Its Lunge Out does minimal damage, but its setup capability is invaluable.

Salamence ex Secret Rare (177/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A 320 HP Dragon-type that excels at spreading damage with Wide Blast and delivering massive hits with Dragon Impact, albeit at the cost of two Energy.

Hop's Zacian ex (111/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Steel-type with a potent 240-damage attack, though Brave Slash can't be used consecutively. Insta-Strike offers minor spread damage, making it ideal for one-hit knockouts.

Alcremie ex (075/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Psychic-type that heals 30 damage each turn with Confectionary Gift. Whipped Shot's 160 damage is solid, but its primary role is as a sustain option in control decks.

Mimikyu ex (069/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A strategic Pokémon that spreads damage with Mischievous Hands and disrupts with Ghostly Trip, dealing 120 damage and causing Confusion.

Veluza ex (043/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Water-type that can deal 240 damage with Purging Strike, requiring you to discard your entire hand. Razor Fin's 30 damage is minimal, but the high-risk, high-reward nature makes it thrilling.

Lillie's Clefairy ex (056/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Psychic-type that targets Dragon decks with Fairy Zone, making them weak to Psychic. Full Moon Rondo scales its damage based on both players' Bench size, making it a potential late-game threat.

Volcanion ex (031/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A Fire-type that burns the opponent's Active Pokémon with Scalding Steam. Scorching Cyclone's 160 damage and Energy-moving ability make it a versatile choice.

Mamoswine ex (079/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
A 340 HP tank that searches your deck for any Pokémon with Mammoth Hauler. Rumbling March's damage scales with your Stage 2 Pokémon, making it formidable in evolution-focused decks.

Salamence ex (114/159)

IGN Photo Composite / The Pokémon Company + Creatures Inc.
Another powerful Salamence ex, boasting the same devastating attacks as its counterpart. Wide Blast spreads damage, while Dragon Impact delivers a massive 300 damage hit.
