"Rainbow Six Siege X: Atlanta Revelations"
Now in its tenth year, Rainbow Six Siege is stepping into a new era with the introduction of Siege X, unveiled by Ubisoft during today's presentation. Dubbed as the game's equivalent to CS2's transformation from CS:GO, Siege X is poised to redefine the tactical shooter landscape.
Set to launch on June 10, Siege X will shift to a free-to-play model, making the game accessible to a broader audience and inviting new players to experience its strategic depth and intense gameplay.
Key Changes in Siege X:
New Mode: Dual Front – This innovative 6v6 match format blends the roles of attack and defense operators, challenging players to capture enemy zones and deploy sabotage devices. The map is segmented into multiple zones, with three areas designated for each team and a large neutral zone in the center. Players have the opportunity to respawn just 30 seconds after being eliminated, adding a dynamic twist to the gameplay.
Advanced Rappel System – Siege X introduces an enhanced rappel system, allowing players to navigate both vertically and horizontally using ropes, thereby expanding tactical options during missions.
Increased Environmental Destruction – The game's trailer highlighted new destructible elements such as fire extinguishers and gas pipes, which players can strategically use to alter the battlefield.
Reworks for Five Popular Maps – Ubisoft is revamping five beloved maps, bringing significant updates to enhance the gameplay experience on these familiar battlegrounds.
Graphical & Audio Enhancements – A comprehensive upgrade to the game's visuals and audio aims to immerse players further into the world of Siege X, delivering a richer and more engaging environment.
Improved Anti-Cheat & Toxicity Measures – In a commitment to fair play and community well-being, Ubisoft is refining the anti-cheat systems and implementing measures to combat toxic behavior within the game.
In anticipation of the full release, Ubisoft has announced a closed beta for Siege X, which will be available to players who watch Siege streams over the next seven days. This opportunity allows eager fans to get a first-hand experience of the new features and provide valuable feedback before the official launch.
