The Feybreak DLC significantly expanded the game, introducing numerous crafting materials, including the valuable Dark Fragments. These are crucial for crafting high-tier accessories, making their acquisition a priority for players.

How to Obtain Dark Fragments in Palworld

Dark Fragments are exclusively obtained from Dark-elemental Pals residing on Feybreak Island. This method doesn't apply to Dark-elemental Pals found elsewhere. Feybreak's coastal areas primarily feature ground and water-type Pals; you'll need to venture inland to locate Dark-elemental Pals. Note that some, like Starryon, are nocturnal unless they are boss variants.

Defeating or capturing these Pals (using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres is recommended) yields 1-3 Dark Fragments per encounter, though this isn't guaranteed. Efficiently hunting Dark Pals is key to accumulating sufficient Dark Fragments.
