Should You Recruit Makiatto in GFL2: Exilium?
Should you summon Makiatto in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium? The answer is largely yes, but with some important qualifications.
Why Makiatto is Worth It:
Makiatto remains a top-tier single-target DPS unit, even in the established Chinese server. Her exceptional damage output makes her a valuable asset to any team. However, she shines best with some manual control, as she isn't optimized for fully automated gameplay. Her Freeze element synergizes incredibly well with Suomi, a standout support character, making them a powerful combination. Even outside of a dedicated Freeze team, Makiatto provides strong general DPS.
Reasons to Skip Makiatto:
If you've already secured a strong early game roster through rerolling, including Qiongjiu, Suomi, and Tololo, Makiatto might be redundant. While Tololo's late-game performance is debated (with potential buffs rumored for the CN version), having her alongside Qiongjiu (supported by Sharkry) could already provide sufficient DPS. In this scenario, conserving resources for future units like Vector and Klukay would be a wiser investment. Unless you require a second, powerful DPS unit for immediate boss fights, Makiatto's addition wouldn't significantly improve your progress.
Ultimately, the decision depends on your current roster and strategic needs. If you lack a strong single-target DPS, or have Suomi and want to build a Freeze team, Makiatto is a highly recommended addition. However, with a well-established early game team, prioritizing future units might be more beneficial. For more Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium guides and strategies, check out The Escapist.
