Rescuing Ratatoskr: A Guide for Marvel Rivals in Central Park
In *Marvel Rivals*, the second set of challenges for Midnight Features II centers on Squirrel Girl, and one particular task stands out: rescuing Ratatoskr in Central Park. Let's dive into who Ratatoskr is and how you can successfully complete this challenge.
Who Is Ratatoskr in Marvel Rivals?
To tackle the Midnight Features II challenges and earn your rewards, you'll need to get acquainted with Ratatoskr. Contrary to the Investigation's claim that Squirrel Girl has turned into a monster, Ratatoskr is an Asgardian beast in the form of a squirrel. Known for carrying messages for Asgardians, she has a history of escaping and causing chaos. This time, she's found herself trapped in a Dracula-controlled New York and needs your assistance to escape.
How To Rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in Marvel Rivals
Central Park serves as the special map for Season 1.5, much like Midtown did at the start of Season 1. Players can select this map at their convenience, unlike other locations in Quick Match and Competitive modes, which are assigned randomly. However, rescuing Ratatoskr five times quickly will still require some luck.
When playing in Central Park, you'll spot a giant squirrel, Ratatoskr, chained up in the center of the map. To rescue her, you must be on the attacking team. Central Park operates like other Convoy maps, requiring your team to reach Ratatoskr's location and fill the progress bars to free her. But the mission doesn't end there; you must then transport her to the opposite side of the map to secure victory.
Successfully rescuing Ratatoskr five times will take multiple attempts, as there's no guaranteed way to be on the attacking side. Keep in mind that the Central Park mode and the Midnight Features II challenges are available for a limited time, so don't delay your efforts. While working on this challenge, you can also complete other quests in the Midnight Features III set.
And that’s how you rescue Ratatoskr in Central Park in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips, check out counters for all the characters in the hero shooter.
*Marvel Rivals is available now on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.*
