The third leg retracts, the front hatches open and close, and the periscope extends from R2's head. LEGO's meticulous attention to detail ensures that every color, wire, tube, and light on R2's body is as screen-accurate as possible. If you manage to grab this set before it's gone, it will complement some of the best LEGO Star Wars sets to build in 2025 beautifully.

R2-D2's most recent on-screen appearance was in 2021, in episode 6 of "The Book of Boba Fett," titled "From the Desert Comes a Stranger."
