Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide
Playing games with friends can elevate the gaming experience to new heights. In *R.E.P.O.*, the challenge posed by the game's tough monsters means that even the best players might need a helping hand at times. This cooperative aspect makes it essential to understand how to revive your teammates effectively when they fall in battle.
What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.
When you start a round in *R.E.P.O.*, your health is set at 100. You can lose health from monster attacks or even from your own items, like Human Grenades. To recover, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by interacting with each other's health bars—a unique mechanic that fosters teamwork and should be more widely adopted in gaming.
Despite these health management options, the relentless monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes overpower your squad. When a teammate falls, their head drops to the ground, marking the beginning of the revival process. Keep an eye on the location where your ally was taken down or use the in-game map, which displays a small icon in the color of their character, to locate the head.
Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.
Once you have the head in your inventory, make your way to the extraction point. Place the head on the point, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (checkable at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then enter the truck to gain more health, ensuring they're not a liability to the squad. It's back to business as usual from there.
If retrieving the head isn't feasible, there's another way to bring your teammates back: start a new round. Similar to *Call of Duty* Zombies, this round-based approach allows fallen players to return at the start of a new round. While this method leaves you at a disadvantage for the remainder of the current round, it can be a strategic move, especially if a player is new or struggling. It gives them a chance to observe and learn from more experienced players before jumping back into the fray.
Understanding these revival mechanics in *R.E.P.O.* can significantly enhance your team's survival chances and overall enjoyment of the game. For more tips, explore what Energy Crystals do in the game and how to acquire more of them.
