Riot Games' co-founder, Marc Merrill, recently shared his vision for the future at the DICE Summit. A key focus is the highly anticipated League of Legends and Arcane universe MMO.

Merrill acknowledged the MMO's significant time commitment, emphasizing his personal passion for the genre as a crucial element for its potential success. He also highlighted the fervent desire among League of Legends fans for deeper immersion within their beloved universe.

While details remain scarce, including a release date, Merrill playfully suggested a launch before humanity's first Martian landing. The feasibility of this prediction remains uncertain.

It's important to remember that another League of Legends title is currently under development: 2XKO, a fighting game. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO has already unveiled trailers and is slated for release before the year's end.
