Mar 25,25

The Roland-Garros eSeries returns in 2025 with heightened excitement, inviting players worldwide to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year's tournament introduces a thrilling team-based format, features legendary tennis captains, and offers a €5,000 prize pool. Key sponsors Renault and Mastercard are back, enhancing the experience with official Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and the exclusive Renault 5 Roland-Garros string for character customization.

When Does It Start?

The Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 will launch in March, with open qualifiers serving as the initial battleground for players to earn their spot in the finals. The qualifying stages are scheduled from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, setting the stage for the elite contenders to emerge. The top female players from the first two qualifiers will secure their places alongside the overall winners. The finals will take place on May 24th at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium, in front of a live audience, and the entire event will be streamed live on Twitch.

What’s New This Year?

This year, the Roland-Garros eSeries introduces an innovative team-based format. Instead of solo play, finalists will be organized into teams, each led by a prominent figure in French tennis. Gilles Simon, a former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the captains. Simon, who has served as a commentator since 2023 and competed in the 2024 Top 8, will lead one team. The identity of his rival captain remains undisclosed, but organizers have hinted that it will be a Grand Slam winner.

Once the teams are finalized, the competition will intensify. The winning team from the initial phase will advance to the winner’s side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team will start in the loser’s bracket. Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the reigning champion, returns to defend his title and will be joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With 548,000 participants from 215 territories last year, the 2025 competition promises to be fiercely competitive.
