Rumor: Mortal Kombat 1 Leak Reveals Next 6 DLC Characters
A recent data mine suggests the next wave of DLC characters for Mortal Kombat 1. This potential leak points to six additions: three returning Mortal Kombat veterans and three exciting guest fighters. While Kombat Pack 1 is nearing completion with the upcoming release of Takeda Takahashi (early access July 23rd, general release July 30th), rumors of a Kombat Pack 2 have been swirling.
Dataminer Interloko's latest findings indicate that Cyrax, Noob Saibot, and Sektor from the Mortal Kombat universe, along with guest characters Ghostface (from Scream), Conan the Barbarian, and the T-1000 (Terminator 2), could be joining the fray. It's important to remember that this is unconfirmed speculation, though some of these characters have surfaced in previous leaks.
Potentially Leaked Mortal Kombat 1 DLC Characters:
- Conan the Barbarian
- Cyrax
- Ghostface
- Noob Saibot
- Sektor
- T-1000
The inclusion of Ghostface gains some credibility from a recent discovery: a voice line in the Mileena announcer pack seemingly confirms his presence. However, NetherRealm Studios has yet to officially announce Kombat Pack 2, leaving the timing and even the accuracy of this leak uncertain.
Previous leaks suggested a different Kombat Pack 2 roster, featuring Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, and the Doomslayer. Lack of supporting evidence makes these claims less convincing. Regardless of the ultimate truth, Mortal Kombat 1 fans should expect more news about Kombat Pack 2 following Takeda Takahashi's arrival in late July.
