Today marks an exciting update for fans of Vampire Survivors as the game introduces its biggest update yet with the free DLC, Emerald Diorama. This unique DLC is a crossover with Square Enix’s renowned fantasy RPG series, SaGa, bringing JRPG vibes to the intense survival action of Vampire Survivors.

Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors

The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a new stage designed like a mini world map, offering a world-hopping experience. Players can explore this new environment and encounter over a dozen new characters, ranging from puppeteers to singers of cursed songs. The update also includes more than 16 new weapons and a novel Glimmer system, allowing players to randomly acquire new skills during runs. To enhance the immersive experience, nine new music tracks have been added to the game.

To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players should visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant. Purchasing the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold will enable you to unlock the content step by step. Additionally, the DLC features character parties, allowing you to form your own mini squad for an enriched gaming experience.

The DLC also introduces two new Adventures, each featuring six chapters. "To End an Ice Age" is tailored for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" extends the narrative of the new DLC.

Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update

Simultaneously, Vampire Survivors receives another free update named The Coop, centered around chickens. This update introduces Gazebo, a new chicken character, along with a new weapon and a relic that accelerates gameplay. Players can unlock numerous achievements and access Darkana by collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens, unlocking the full potential of The Coop.

For an optimal experience in The Coop, players are advised to refrain from killing anything for the first minute. This strategy unlocks the Gaze of Gaea, which, when evolved with Parm Aegis, further unlocks Gazebo.
