Doom: The Dark Ages Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller

List Price: $79.99 Save 32% Now: $54.00 at Walmart

This special-edition controller is inspired by the recently released Doom: The Dark Ages, a game we've just reviewed. It captures the Doomslayer’s battle-worn aesthetic with a matte green finish mimicking his armor, complete with metallic silver helmet spikes and armored plating on the top case. It features a blood-red thumbstick, rubberized grips with a leather-like texture, and unique green face buttons adorned with Sentinel symbols instead of the standard letters. A vivid orange right trigger adds a final, striking touch.

Beyond its design, this is functionally the same high-quality wireless controller that comes with Xbox Series X and S consoles. You get all the standard features: textured grips for better control, a hybrid D-pad, full button remapping via the Xbox Accessories app, a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headsets, and a dedicated Share button for capturing and sharing gameplay moments.

The controller offers both Xbox wireless and Bluetooth connectivity, making it a versatile choice for PC and mobile gaming. In fact, we consider it one of the best PC controllers on the market. If your PC lacks built-in Bluetooth, you can still connect it using the included USB Type-C cable or purchase a separate wireless adapter.

Doom: The Dark Ages launched on May 15 and is already a strong contender for one of the year's best shooters. This prequel to 2016's Doom delves deeper into the lore of the Sentinels and Maykrs. The game is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC, and it's currently on sale as well.
