索尼互动娱乐 (SIE) 将参加2024年东京电玩展的综合展区，这是他们四年来首次回归。官方网站公布了参展公司名单，在731家参展商和3190个展位中，索尼占据了从1号馆到8号馆的多个展位。虽然索尼参加了2023年东京电玩展，但仅限于独立游戏试玩区。今年，索尼将与卡普空、科乐美等大型发行商一起，出现在展会的核心区域。
目前尚不清楚索尼计划展出什么内容。索尼在五月份的State of Play发布会上公布了多款2024年发售的游戏，其中许多游戏会在东京电玩展举办时已经上市。索尼在其最新的财务报告中也表示，“在2025年4月之前，不计划发布任何新的主要现有系列游戏”。

东京电玩展 (TGS) 是亚洲最大的电子游戏展览会之一，将于9月26日至29日在幕张展览馆举行。2024年的东京电玩展将是迄今为止规模最大的一次，截至7月4日，共有731家参展商（448家日本参展商和283家海外参展商）和3190个展位。
对于希望参加活动的海外游戏爱好者，面向国际游客的公众日普通门票将于7月25日12:00（日本标准时间）开始发售。参观者可以购买3000日元的一日票，或6000日元的支持者俱乐部门票，后者包括一件独家TGS 2024特别版T恤和贴纸，以及优先入场权。更多门票销售信息可在其官方网站上找到。
