Serial Cleaner, the crime-scene cleanup puzzler, is making a comeback! Remember the 2019 release? This time, it's hitting mobile. But will it be a refined re-release or simply a modernized port? Only time will tell.

The game plunges you into the gritty, yet quirky, 1970s. Think urban decay, stylish gangs, and a healthy dose of cinematic absurdity (killer sharks, anyone?). You play as Bob Leaner, a professional crime-scene cleaner, tasked with the delicate art of disposing of bodies, wiping away blood, and erasing all evidence of mob violence—all while dodging the police.

Our 2019 review deemed the original Serial Cleaner "half-baked but with potential." Developer Plug-in Digital is now self-publishing the mobile version, suggesting a chance for improvement.

A Funky Return?

Pre-registration is open, with a February 11th, 2025 release date. While the extent of the changes remains unclear, a polished re-release would be welcome, given the mixed reception of the original. However, given the time elapsed, significant improvements might be wishful thinking.
