A recent teaser from The Sims, brimming with references to the first two games, has ignited fervent speculation among fans. Could a return of these classic titles be on the horizon? While nothing is officially confirmed, Kotaku sources suggest a potential digital PC release of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with their original expansion packs, by the end of the week from EA and Maxis Games.
Should this prove true, the question of console releases and their timing remains. Given the potent nostalgia factor and potential for significant profit, it seems unlikely EA would ignore this opportunity.
