Sega announces exciting mobile game updates to coincide with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 3! Get ready for new content across Sonic's mobile titles, inspired by the upcoming movie.

First up, Sonic Forces receives a major update on December 12th, introducing a brand-new Metro-city Zone. This update features three challenging levels playable as Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar characters. Complete the zone before seeing the movie for the ultimate experience!

Next, Sonic Dream Team (Apple Arcade) gets its update on December 18th, adding Shadow the Hedgehog as a playable character with unique abilities like Chaos Control and Chaos Shift. Unlock him by tackling Tails' Challenges. The update also includes new powers (Quick Grind, Perfect Boost) for all characters, exclusive Shadow upgrades (like Double Chaos Shift), six new Shadow-themed statues, new music tracks, and a revamped tutorial.

Lastly, Sonic Dash (App Store and Google Play) gets its update on December 20th, allowing players to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic. Daily challenges offer additional rewards. Sonic Dash+ on Apple Arcade will receive its Shadow-themed update in January.
