S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Delayed: Deep Dive Incoming
The highly anticipated S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl faces another release date postponement. Originally scheduled for September 5th, 2024, the open-world FPS from GSC Game World will now launch on November 20th, 2024. This delay allows the developers additional time to refine the game and address unforeseen technical issues.
Addressing "Unexpected Anomalies"
GSC Game World's Game Director, Yevhen Grygorovych, explained the delay, citing the need to resolve unexpected glitches and bugs. He acknowledged fans' patience and assured them that the extra two months will significantly improve the final product. Grygorovych expressed sincere gratitude for the continued support from the community.
An Upcoming Developer Deep Dive on August 12th, 2024
To compensate for the delay, GSC Game World, in collaboration with Xbox, will host a Developer Deep Dive on August 12th, 2024. This event promises an in-depth look at the game, including exclusive gameplay footage, behind-the-scenes insights, and a complete walkthrough of a story mission. Further details regarding the Deep Dive's content are expected soon. The developers aim to provide fans with a comprehensive preview of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's gameplay and visuals.
