Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl's SEVA-V Armor: A Free Early-Game Powerhouse

Stalker 2 offers a variety of armor suits to enhance player survivability within The Zone's hazardous environment. The SEVA-V suit, a valuable member of the SEVA series, stands out as a free and readily accessible option early in the game, providing excellent PSI protection. This guide details how to acquire this crucial piece of equipment.

Locating the SEVA-V Suit

The SEVA-V suit is located at the "Scientist Helicopter" Point of Interest (POI) in Stalker 2's Rostok region. This POI is situated southwest of the Rostok base, in a large field marked by a crashed helicopter within an Electro anomaly and a large, rusty crane. Reaching the suit requires a bit of climbing.

Accessing the Crane and the Suit

Upon arriving at the Scientist Helicopter POI, you'll see the crashed helicopter (within an Electro anomaly) to your right and a ladder leading up the rusty crane to your left. Before ascending the crane, it's advisable to use an artifact detector to locate and retrieve an Electro-type artifact from the anomalous field near the helicopter. This will help mitigate the risks of the anomaly.

Climb the ladder onto the crane. Once at the top, proceed to the right and traverse the crane's structure until you reach the operator's cabin on the left. Carefully jump across the gap to the cabin. Inside, you'll find a bag containing valuable supplies and the SEVA-V armor. Retrace your steps to descend the crane.

SEVA-V Suit Stats and Uses

The SEVA-V suit can be upgraded by Screw, the technician at the Rostok base. It allows for up to four artifact slots and offers superior radiation protection alongside significant PSI protection. If you already possess superior armor, selling the SEVA-V suit can yield a substantial amount of in-game currency.
