ConcernedApe, the creator of Stardew Valley, has confirmed that a much-anticipated patch for the Nintendo Switch version is imminent. This patch will resolve critical issues, including a game-breaking crash related to divorce and problems affecting the raccoon shop.

While these issues have already been rectified across PC, mobile, and other console platforms, the Switch version's update has been under development. ConcernedApe recently reassured players via social media that the patch is "coming as soon as possible," though a precise release date remains unannounced.

The delay follows the launch of the substantial 1.6 update, which introduced numerous features such as new farm types (like Meadowlands Farm), expanded NPC interactions, and visual enhancements.
