Imperator: Rome offers a different perspective, allowing players to command the Roman Empire and influence the lives of historical figures on grand battlefields. However, Vikings consistently feature prominently in gaming, and Norse adds a fresh take.

Norse is a turn-based strategy title, echoing the XCOM formula, but with a Viking twist. Players follow Gunnar, a young warrior driven by revenge for his father's murder at the hands of Steinarr Far-Spear. Gunnar's journey involves establishing a settlement, recruiting allies, and forging a formidable Viking army. Unlike the construction and exploration focus of Valheim, Norse prioritizes a narrative-driven experience.
