May 28,25

Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has something spectacular planned for its global fanbase. Starting May 12th, players will embark on a globe-trotting marathon to commemorate the milestone.

The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The celebration kicks off in Copenhagen, where Subway Surfers first debuted. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital and launches a unique daily city-hopping challenge. Players will run through Copenhagen and unlock up to 21 other iconic cities including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To explore these destinations, you must collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next one.

This update marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a journey that began in 2013. Currently, the game is set in Osaka, celebrating Golden Week with neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. New characters, Saru and Oni Hime, are making their debut here. Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer. Additionally, new social features such as Player Names and Friend Lists are being introduced.
