As players delve into the mysterious Thorncrown Rises in Wuthering Waves, they'll encounter Botim, who stands south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon. Botim shares a tale of his family's ancestral site, where a "Terminal" has been passed down through generations. He explains that the towers within this area are plagued by shadowy monsters that cause havoc before vanishing. Botim offers valuable rewards to players willing to tackle this challenge, thus initiating the Shadow of the Past Quest in Wuthering Waves.

Thorncrown Rises Three Towers Locations In Wuthering Waves

In Thorncrown Rises, players must locate three distinct towers, each contributing to the completion of the Shadow of the Past Quest, which is divided into three sub-Quests:

• Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Located in the northeastern part of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Found in the southern part of Thorncrown Rises.
• Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Situated in the southwestern part of Thorncrown Rises.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise

The Resounding Rise Tower awaits in the northeastern corner of Thorncrown Rises. To begin the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise sub-Quest, players should speak with Itzel, who stands east of the Tower. Here's how to navigate the Tower:

• Enter the painting at the end of the hallway.
• Follow the Quest marker to track down the Abyssal Mercator.
• Defeat the Abyssal Mercator and claim the northern Basic Supply chest.
• Head to the western room to secure another Supply chest.
• Proceed to the eastern room and enter the second painting.
• Confront the Abyssal Mercator once more.
• Clear the enemies in the eastern and western rooms to collect the Supply chests.
• Move north and follow the Quest marker to pursue the Abyssal Mercator again.
• Defeat it and touch the painting behind it to continue the chase.
• Open the chest at the hallway's end to halt the shooting enemies.
• Overcome the enemy blocking your path.

To complete the sub-Quest, arrange the paintings as follows:

• Move the top left painting to the bottom right display.
• Hold the painting behind the top left display and place it on the bottom left display.
• Shift the top right painting to the top left display.
• Take the painting behind the bottom right display and place it on the top right display.
• Claim the Premium Supply chest.

Finally, touch the painting to face the Abyssal Mercator one last time, then speak with Itzel to claim the Tidal Supply chest. This will weaken one of the barriers at the Command Rise Tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise

After leaving the Resounding Rise Tower, head southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and speak with Insula to gain entry. Inside, follow the Quest marker until you realize you're caught in a loop, and Insula appears. Then:

• Investigate the three marked spots for clues.
• Converse with Insula.
• Enter the secret passageway beneath the elevator.
• Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
• Collect the Supply chest and continue the pursuit.
• Face the Abyssal Patricius for the final time.
• Speak with Insula again.
• Claim the Tidal Supply chest.

Completing these steps will finish the Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise Quest and weaken the second barrier at the Command Rise Tower.

Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise

Upon completing the first two parts of the Shadow of the Past Quest, the Shadow of the Past: Command Rise Tower sub-Quest will automatically start. Here's what players need to do:

• Travel to the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower and speak with Insula and Itzel.
• Use the Wingray northwest of the beach to fly to the Command Rise Tower.
• Enter the Tower and follow the Quest marker deeper inside.
• Collect the Supply chest west of the moving libraries.
• Use the Grapple to ascend.
• Secure the Basic Supply chest between the jars, then defeat the enemies on the balcony to obtain another Supply chest.
• Follow the Quest marker to confront the Abyssal Patricius.
• Claim the chest and use the Grapple to climb higher.

As you ascend, thoroughly explore the Tower to find numerous Supply chests and two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna. Utilize the chandelier's mechanics to reach the top, where you'll find Liel deceased. Speak with Insula and Itzel, then use the portal behind them to reach the Abyssal Patricius. Defeat it to obtain the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.

After exiting the Command Rise Tower via the portal and speaking with Insula and Itzel, players will be rewarded with the King of Thessaleo Achievement and the Shadow of the Tower Achievement in Wuthering Waves.
