My Time At Sandrock: How to Get A Double Bed (How to Make Your House Ready for Marriage)
Quick Links
In My Time at Sandrock, building a life with your loved one involves more than just romance. To truly settle down, you'll need a double bed! Finding one might be trickier than you think, so let's dive into the best places to get your hands on one.
Where to Buy a Double Bed in My Time at Sandrock
The easiest way to acquire a double bed is from By The Stairs, a shop located on the lower level of town, nestled between the Commerce Guild and the Civil Corps building. Arvio runs this charming establishment, and the Yakboy Double Bed will set you back 6,250 Gols (though discounts are possible!). This purchase is a crucial step towards marital bliss in My Time at Sandrock.
Keep in mind that this 3x5 bed is for indoor use only. You'll also need a second Yakboy Double Bed to complete the "The President and His Wife" side mission. Save up your Gols—this bed is a significant investment!
Upgrading and Redecorating the Yakboy Double Bed
While the standard Yakboy Double Bed is functional, it's not exactly stylish. Luckily, you can customize it! Use a pigment to dye it and change its color. For a more dramatic makeover, transform it into the Starry Double Bed using these materials:
- Starry Night Double Bed Headboard: 3 Hardwood Planks
- Starry Night Double Bed Mattress and Cover: 4 Wool
- Mom's Quilts: 4 Wool Cloth, 6 Feathers, 3 Thin Threads
- Starry Night Footboard: 3 Hardwood Planks, 3 Tanned Leather
Other Double Beds in My Time At Sandrock
Currently, there's only one other double bed available, and it's part of a paid DLC. The Elegant Large Bed (a 4x5 piece) is included in the Far East Furniture Pack ($3.99 USD). Once purchased and installed, it'll magically appear in your in-game mailbox, along with nine other elegant furniture pieces. Note that this bed cannot be customized.
