"Shin Megami Tensei Creator's New Roguelike: Tsukuyomi"
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is now available worldwide on Android as a fresh take on roguelike card battlers. Designed by legendary artist Kazuma Kaneko, renowned for his surreal aesthetic in Shin Megami Tensei and Persona franchises, the game blends dungeon crawling with AI-driven mechanics.
Developed by Japanese studio COLOPL, where Kaneko took creative leadership in 2023, this innovative title merges traditional card combat with personalized AI systems showcasing Kaneko's signature dark fantasy style.
Personalized AI Adaptation in Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter
Players encounter an artificial deity that evolves alongside their gameplay, generating dynamic card responses through a proprietary AI system. Dubbed "AI Kaneko," this neural network trained directly by Kaneko powers the groundbreaking Okami System.
The Okami System manifests as an observer deity that analyzes your dungeon exploration tactics, crafting unique cards in real-time that mirror your individual playstyle.
The game's setting transports players to The Hashira, a once-futuristic Tokyo Bay skyscraper now overrun by supernatural threats. The derelict tower serves as the battleground for Tsukuyomi defense forces.
Your objective: ascend The Hashira's cursed floors to eliminate Noriko Tomi, the rogue construction CEO weaponizing ancient jujutsu traps against the government.
