Ubisoft Remains Committed to Future Driver Projects
Ubisoft has officially confirmed to Game File that the live-action Driver series, previously slated for exclusive streaming on Binge.com, is no longer in production. The initial announcement in 2021 highlighted Ubisoft's ambition to expand its gaming franchises into new media. However, the partnership dissolved following the closure of Hotrod Tanner LLC, a movie production subsidiary named after the game's protagonist. "We are no longer moving forward with our partnership with Binge for a Driver series," a Ubisoft spokesperson stated.
