"Ultimate Arise Crossover: Beginner's Beta Guide"
If you're diving into *Arise Crossover*, it might seem straightforward at first: you gather Shadow units and take on enemies who can't fight back, aiming to get stronger units until you hit a wall. But as you approach the endgame, you might find yourself puzzled about progression, leveling up, and choosing the right Shadows. This guide is here to help you navigate those challenges and elevate your gameplay.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands hosts several recruitable Shadows and one powerful dungeon Shadow. The Shadows come in different types, with **Soondoo** being the weakest unit available right from the start, while **Mifalcon** stands as the strongest, found on Brum Island at the game's climax.

However, what truly matters in *Arise Crossover* are the ranks of the Shadows. For instance, a **Rank A Soondoo** can outperform a **Rank D Mifalcon**. Higher-ranked units have the potential to level up further; a **Rank D unit tops out at Level 75**, whereas an **SS Unit can reach Level 200**. Your ultimate team would ideally feature four level SS Mifalcons, but the journey to assemble such a squad is where the real fun lies.

Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. Even if you enter just before a portal closes, you'll have ample time to complete the dungeon. Portals can appear in various locations across the islands, with their difficulty rank being randomly assigned.
Start your journey by assembling a team of **Rank D units** and tackle a **Rank D or C dungeon** on Leveling Island. This approach will help you build a solid team and possibly recruit a rare Shadow Unit. Remember, **dungeons are your key to recruiting Rare Units and common units above Rank C**.

When a portal spawns, seize the opportunity. Even if your team isn't up to par, position yourself at the portal and wait for a fellow player to join. Many players can solo these dungeons and often don't mind helping lower-level players. This community spirit is your ticket to higher-ranking units. **Recruiting Shadows from dungeons is the cornerstone of progression in *Arise Crossover***.
We once had a kind soul guide us through a **Rank A dungeon** with just our Rank C units, which enabled us to recruit Rank A units and push towards the endgame. Later, we returned the favor by helping players with Rank D units through a **Rank S dungeon**. Embrace this cycle of help and you'll see your ranks soar.
Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, weapons in *Arise Crossover* are largely ineffective. They might offer a slight advantage at the game's outset, but their impact diminishes significantly as you progress. The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most powerful common weapon, costs 60 million and deals 516,1K damage, while your units can dish out 200 to 400 million. Unless you're flush with cash, it's wise to hold off on weapons until the game receives an update.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover
Screenshot by The Escapist
Just like dungeons, **wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes**, and only one player per server can claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount's appearance, though you won't always know if someone else claims it or if it vanishes.
Mounts can spawn in **six different locations**: on islands behind the main ones or on side islands between major islands. Check the developer's map for these locations.

You can't claim the same mount twice, and there's a chance you might fail to capture one. **Flying mounts are the rarest**, with a 10% spawn rate, while **ground mounts are common**, and **water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC**.
To secure a mount, watch for the server message and race to the six possible spawn locations. If you miss out, simply wait for the next alert. We're still on the hunt for a Flying mount, which, while not essential for progression, certainly makes traversing the game world more enjoyable.
That wraps up our beginner's guide to *Arise Crossover*. As the game evolves with updates, we'll keep this guide current. Meanwhile, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some free goodies to enhance your experience.
